Fall Bird Walk

Franklin Park is an urban hotspot for migratory birds – 218 bird species have been documented in our park! If you haven’t been “birding” before, join in, all are welcome. Bring binoculars, if you have them. Loaner binoculars will be available from the Boston Nature Center. Wear sneakers and dress for the weather. Heavy rain cancels.

We’ll explore Scarboro Pond and Hill looking for hawks, waterfowl, woodpeckers, and more. Expect to walk 1-2 miles on paved paths.
