Wilderness Project with Black Cotton Club
September 30 @ 7:00 pm - 9:30 pm
This event, part of the Wilderness Project, will feature Black Cotton Club for a reimagined jam session welcoming the audience to be unfiltered and unapologetically themselves with their voices and bodies.
Wilderness Project is an interactive art installation inviting participants to write ancient and new prayers, proverbs, and poems on ribbons tied to woven structures of Asiatic Bittersweet vines. The installation will be up from Sept 30–Oct 7th, 2022, and will include live music and performances on September 30th and Oct 7th. Visitors are invited to visit the exhibit and add ribbons and stories to the installation at any time between September 30th and October 7th.
Wilderness Project is supported by the Olmsted Now Parks Equity and Spatial Justice Grant and the Live Arts Boston Grant.
